On April 7, 2026, Ambassador Farid Talibov received a delegation led by Hideo Akazawa, President of the Japanese company Shinyei Kaisha.
The meeting, held in a cordial and businesslike atmosphere, discussed the activities of the Japanese company Shinyei Kaisha in Azerbaijan over the years, especially in the fields of disaster risk reduction, hydrotechnical infrastructure, seismology and construction safety. Ambassador Farid Talibov highly appreciated the company's participation in projects such as the Badamdar landslide area, the "Flame Towers" research, the assessment of the technical safety of reservoirs and the preparation of seismic risk maps, and emphasized that these activities are one of the important and effective directions of Azerbaijani-Japanese cooperation. In his opinion, the practical experience gained by Shinyei Kaisha and the engineering solutions it applies are of great importance for our country, and it is appropriate to further expand cooperation in areas of mutual interest in the future.
